The expectation coming into camp was that Cristian Pache (OF, ATL) would displace incumbent three-time Gold Glove winner Ender Inciarte (OF, ATL). General manager Alex Anthopoulos decided to carry the then 21-year-old on the postseason roster after a grand total of four plate appearances during the regular season. While he didn’t exactly make a huge splash at the plate in the playoffs (.182/.280/.364), he did hit a home run in the NLCS, and his 3 K/4 BB suggested that he wasn’t...
