PT TOMORROW: NL West—Is all well in the ARI bullpen?

After hitting a rough patch in May, the Diamondbacks have resumed with their winning ways in June, thanks in part to a bullpen that leads the majors with a 2.55 ERA. Named as the team’s closer at the end of spring training, Brad Boxberger (RHP, ARI) has rewarded the Diamondbacks (and fantasy owners) with 14 saves in 16 chances, with a tidy 2.70 ERA (3.09 xERA), 12.3 Dom, and 147 BPV through 23 IP. But as pointed out in Brian Rudd’s FACTS/FLUKES column about a month ago, there were some warning signs that Boxberger was, to a certain extent, over-performing. Specifically, Boxberger’s 9% SwK, while acceptable, did not support the 12.0 Dom he was sporting at the time.
