Though still a work in progress, the left-field situation in LA is beginning to take shape, with former All-Star Matt Kemp (OF, LA) separating himself from the pack. In his first 16 games this spring, Kemp, who shed something close to 40 pounds during the offseason, was 13-for-43 (.302) with 4 HR and 8 RBI, and is only a year removed from a .268 BA/35 HR/108 RBI campaign with the Braves. While there’s still a chance LA could move him at some point, manager Dave Roberts recently sang his praises while noting that he (Kemp) was more than a platoon player.

There was some speculation that Chris Taylor (SS/OF, LA) could see time in the infield with Justin Turner’s (3B, LA) recent injury, but Roberts has said he prefers to...
