When injuries befell the Dodgers rotation to start the season, the team summoned from the bullpen Ross Stripling (RHP, LA), and he’s done nothing but make the transition look easy, posting a 2.27 ERA (2.97 xERA), 10.4 Dom (12% SwK), and 1.7 Ctl (70% FpK) across 83 IP on the season. As noted by Greg Pyron in a recent Facts/Flukes column, a slight pullback seems inevitable, but Stripling should be able to ride his vastly improved curveball to a top-tier season the rest of the way. With Stripling excelling and Rich Hill (LHP, LA) and Clayton Kershaw (LHP, LA) both returning from injury, the Dodgers have something they've rarely had since Opening Day: a healthy five-man rotation.
