PT TOMORROW: NL West—Jansen looks to find his rhythm in LA

As the Dodgers turn their focus more to the postseason, one concern appears to be the effectiveness of closer Kenley Jansen (RHP, LA), who on the year owns a 3.74 ERA (3.54 xERA) with 60/11 K/BB in 46 innings. Those numbers are backed by some very nice underlying metrics—including a 68% FpK and 16% SwK, both of which are improvements from last year’s 65% and 14%, respectively. After a combined 5 blown saves in the past two years, however, Jansen has already equaled that mark with nearly a quarter of the season left to play. Manager Dave Roberts recently suggested Jansen was working through some mechanical issues to find more consistency on the mound, and earlier this week, Roberts announced his intention to ease off...
