The back end of Colorado's rotation has been a revolving door this season due to injuries as well as just general ineffectiveness. That trend continued this week after Juan Nicasio (RHP, COL) was sent to AAA-Colorado Springs after posting a 5.92 ERA and 1.58 WHIP through 14 starts. Help may be on the way, though, as preseason starters Brett Anderson (LHP, COL) and Tyler Chatwood (RHP, COL) are now throwing bullpen sessions.

Anderson is now expected back near the All-Star break after suffering a broken left index finger in his third start of the season. Anderson, who has had chronic injury problems his entire career, is an xGBer who should fare better than most in Coors Field. He posted impressive skills in limited...
