In many leagues, Michael King (RHP, NYY) was a hot pickup in FAAB bidding this past Sunday, on the theory that the apparent demotion from the closer role of Clay Holmes (RHP, NYY) may become permanent. 

King saved the team’s May 2 game, and then Ian Hamilton (RHP, NYY) earned a save in the team’s May 6 game, with Holmes getting a high-leverage opportunity in the eighth inning against the heart of the Tampa order — in other words, not the ninth, but not exactly a low-pressure situation, either.

Holmes then got the seventh inning the following day and set the 4-5-6 hitters down in order, with a pair of strikeouts.
