THE BIG HURT: Hurt file, 2023 spring update

Our regular, thrice-weekly column will kick off next week. However, the injury pile has been growing since our last update. Here are some notes to get you through until Wednesday.

Rhys Hoskins (1B, PHI) – L knee, ACL tear (3/23/23)
Our original write-up was very insightful, balanced, and prescient. By now, though, we've all heard (we hope) that he tore his ACL. 2023 Impact: Out
2024 Impact: Elevated risk
Est. Return: Opening Day 2024

Raisel Iglesias (RHP, ATL) – R shoulder inflammation (3/23/23)
Inflammation could just be the result of overuse as he gets used to...
