There’s no good news here—broken fingers aren’t quite as bad as broken thumbs, but it’s still a serious injury. It was his top (power) hand as well, so there will be power concerns when he returns.

Mitch Haniger (OF, SEA) – Face, lacerations (7/28/17)
Getting hit in the face with a pitch is always a scary moment, but he seems to have come out of it with minor injuries (relatively speaking). The only lasting effect might be psychological.
