DR HQ: 2013 injury risks: Second base

Walker has looked sharp this spring according to veteran Pirate observers. He had a herniated disc in his lower back late in the season. Walker rehabbed his back over the offseason and appears ready. The issue is what is the chance of a relapse and what are the consequences of another back injury? While the odds of a relapse are unlikely because he does not have a history of back issues, if it occurs this season, surgery could cost him a good chunk of 2013.
