DR HQ: Kipnis, Panik on the DL; Freeman, Souza updates

Rafael Soriano (RHP, CHC)
Injury: Inflammation – right shoulder
DL date: Retro to July 31
Estimated DL time: Unknown. The severity of the ailment hasn’t been released yet. Most likely, he’ll be out until the end of August at the earliest.

Freddie Freeman (1B, ATL)
Injury: Strained right oblique muscle
DL date: Aug 4
Estimated DL time: His oblique injury doesn’t appear as serious as the typical strain, but it still is likely to cost him most of August. And once he returns his offense could suffer early on.

Jason Frasor (RHP, ATL)
Injury: Strained right shoulder
DL date: Aug 2
Estimated DL time: Frasor is expected to recover quickly enough that a return before rosters expand is expected, though maybe in a more limited role in September.
