DR HQ: Soler, Duda, Sabathia go down

Jorge Soler (OF, CHC)
Injury: Strained left oblique muscle
DL date: Aug 24
Estimated DL time: The typical recovery time is 25-31 days. If Soler’s return falls in that time frame, he won’t be back until the middle of September.

Desmond Jennings (OF, TAM)
Injury: Bruised left knee
DL date: Aug 26
Estimated DL time: The Rays need healthy bodies in the outfield and can afford to leave him on the bench for a week or so. Rosters expand in less than a week, but he should be back once his 15 days are up.

Lucas Duda (1B, NYM)
Injury: Herniated disc – thoracic part of his back
DL date: Aug 22
Estimated DL time: Though the Mets indicate he’ll be back very close to his activation date, back injuries in this region can take a tad longer to recover....
