Injury: Strained right oblique
DL date: May 31
Estimated DL time: Early estimates indicate at least a couple of weeks; he may need need a month or so.
Estimated 2013 effect upon return: Limited or none.

Matt Kemp (OF, LAD)
Injury: Strained right hamstring
DL date: May 30
Estimated DL time: Had trouble with the left hamstring last year; looks as though Kemp is developing leg problems. The Dodgers think he could return in 15-20 days.
Estimated 2013 effect upon return: He probably will run a lot less early on.

Trevor Plouffe (3B, MIN)
Injury: Tight left calf
DL date: May 29
Estimated DL time: It doesn’t look serious and he should return in approximately 15 days.
