GM's OFFICE: Brent & Ray's Opening Day diary, 2019 edition

On Opening Day 2018, Brent and I celebrated the end of the offseason by resolving to sit back and watch games all day. To make it seem like work, we kept a running diary of our observations. The result was well-received, and we're never shy about recycling a good idea, so we decided to do the same thing this year.

Between the two of us, we managed to watch at least a few minutes of every game yesterday. (Particularly in the 4pm ET slate of games—8 of them—that wasn't easy!) Along the way, we collected our thoughts—some with fantasy implications, some not so much—as the day unfolded.

First choice if the day … Nats or Mets on the mlb.tv feed?
Went Nats.

Ray [1:06 PM]
Oh no! We may have to divorce. Gary/Keith/Ron all day...

Almost!
