GM's OFFICE: Two drafts, similar results, different feelings

Brent and I both wrote recently in this space about our industry draft at the FSTA conference. I handled the preview, and Brent followed up with our early results. The slow draft phase has lived up to its moniker (slow!), but it's about wrapped up. You can check out the near-final grid here.

If you read my preview and Brent's response consecutively, it should be pretty clear that we were happy with the way that draft developed. We had a pretty clear approach in mind, and were able to execute it faithfully. The entire draft broke almost exactly as we envisioned it.

Of course, not all drafts work out that way.

I'm having the opposite experience in another draft that's going on right now. Greg Ambrosius at the National Fantasy Baseball...
