Speculating on September shutdowns

As we all know, the All-Star break is the perfect time to evaluate your teams. Where can I gain/lose points? How do I look in those pesky wins, saves, and steals categories? Do I have a realistic shot at winning the league, and (if you're in a keeper league) am I a buyer or seller at my league's deadline? Another question that doesn't get talked about enough… are my pitchers going to last until September?

This week, we’ll speculate on several SP pushing their innings envelopes who could be candidates for a late-season shutdown (or at least slowdown). The takeaway here is two-fold: redraft players should start looking for Plan Bs or dangling these pitchers on the open market, while keeper/dynasty folks playing for 2025 should weave...
