SPECULATOR: The answer key

As we put a bow on the Speculator for 2018, it's time to flip to the back of the book. We now have the answer key to a number of questions posed here back in February and March.

We ran some preseason columns speculating on 2018’s longshot stat leaders, first-round players, the next Whit Merrifield and Chris Devenski, etc. Today, we’ll revisit those "out on a limb" calls—not only to see what went right or wrong—but to see how things actually played out, dropping in some takeaways for 2019 along the way.

It's been a fun year (my first!) of speculating in this space. I hope some of these 20% plays have put you in the hunt as we hit the final week. Thank you for reading, and we'll see you back here in January.
