SPECULATOR: Checking in on the 2013 rookie class

The end of June is a fine time to step back and review the performances of this year's rookie class. Rather than take a Fact/Fluke approach that's entirely based in BPI evaluation and near-term performance outlooks, we will take a more speculative look at these prospects; hoping to discern what their initial MLB production foretells about their longer-term MLB ceiling. None of these are finished products yet, and their MLB sample sizes are still quite small. But going out on a limb is what we do in this space, after all.

For purposes of this exercise, we will define our scope as members of the pre-season BaseballHQ.com HQ100 list who have picked up significant playing time in 2013:
