SPECULATOR: Checking in on the 2017 rookie class

As we approach the halfway point of the season, it’s always a good time to step back and review the performances of this year’s rookies. And in 2017, we’ve got gamut of fast starters (like, really, REALLY fast) and those who have been a bit slow out of the gate. 

As with other years, we’ll use the 2017 HQ100 list as the starting point for this exercise, and keep our observations limited to those who have had regular role so far. Because of the proliferation of former prospects on our list that have received significant playing time, this list only covers the top 50 names in the 2017 HQ100. But there’s some goodies here.
