SPECULATOR: A DH in the National League?

As I recall, a brief exchange from our 100-Game Project LIVEstream last Wednesday night went a little something like this when answering a question about NL DH:

Brent Hershey: "Sounds like a great Speculator column, doesn't it?"

Ray Murphy: "Yeah! Ryan, go write this one up."

Taking those not-so-subtle cues from the head honchos (full clip at the end of this article), I'll gladly embrace the rumor mill and speculate on a number of NL players who could benefit should Major League Baseball adopt a universal DH for 2020.

A quick disclaimer that Ray touched on in his recent 100-Game Projection Intro column: the NL DH hasn't been (and won't be) incorporated into our site-wide projections until/unless it's confirmed by MLB. If it happens,...
