The Rays recalled the 24-year-old from Triple-A for OF depth. Kiermaier was a surprise addition for Game 163 in 2013 after beginning the season in Double-A. He has been quite a find for Tampa Bay after being selected in the 31st round of the 2010 draft. He is an instinctual, athletic outfielder who has made his name as an outstanding defender, but is evolving into a valued offensive contributor. The left-handed hitter finished 2nd in the Double-A Southern League in BA and uses a quick, short stroke to make exemplary contact. There is very little punch in his game, but he has enough...
