Mookie Betts can flat out hit. The 5’9”, 165-pounder has produced at every level, never having a ct% under 85%, Eye under 1.07, bb% under 11%, and K% over 12%. Only at age 21, Betts has elite plate discipline and contact ability—he's walked more than struck out at every level—with some scouts putting a 70 on his hit tool, giving him the potential to compete for batting titles in his prime. While lacking consistent power, he still stings the ball with authority, with 33 of his hits going for extra bases this year, and ultimately, around 15 HR should be his ceiling.
