The Astros have purchased the contract of speedster Myles Straw from Triple-A Fresno. According to Astros Manager A.J. Hinch, Straw’s primary role will be a pinch runner and defensive replacement as the team pushes towards a second consecutive World Series title. The 23-year-old was challenged in spring training to be more aggressive on the bases. Straw responded by nearly doubling his previous SB totals, stealing 70 bases in 79 attempts, split between two levels. A RHH, Straw’s a throwback to another era. He works the ball the other-way...
