D'Arnaud, 24, makes his much anticipated debut while John Buck (C, NYM) is on paternity leave. The top-ranked BaseballHQ.com catcher prospect coming into 2013 and #22 overall prospect in the BHQ Mid-Season Top 50, d'Arnaud should start all three games Buck is on leave, and could stay for the rest of the season as the Mets starting catcher. D'Arnaud has been plagued with injuries recently, missing all but 67 games of 2012, and having played in just 32 contests this season at the time of call-up.
