Ranking prospects from the 2026 trade season

The trade deadline has come and gone. While there have been some big moves made, a top five prospect like Leo De Vries (SS, ATH), who was traded last year before the deadline, was not traded. Still, there were 8 prospects under top 100 consideration and three in our Midseason Top 50 list. 

The descriptions that follow will give a snapshot of each prospect traded. We’re going 25 prospects deep again this year. The top 10 players will include a paragraph-long blurb. The bottom 15 will include a sentence summary. I’ll also provide an updated potential rating at the end of each blurb. At the conclusion of our ranking, we give the single-league players their own cheat sheet, which will include additional players outside of the Top 25.
