Comments: Tall, strong-bodied hurler has an ideal power pitchers frame. Attacks hitters with a plus-plus 95-97 mph fastball that tops out at 100 mph. Holds his velocity deep into games and commands his fastball well to both sides of the plate. ERA is not indicative of his effectiveness or long-term potential. Low strand rate and xERA suggest he was unlucky in ’14. Slider is a true swing-and-miss offering...
