If you’ve listened to the Eyes Have it podcast or have been an avid reader of this column, you know my disdain towards organization who do a continually poor job at development. I’ve lambasted the White Sox over the last several years for their approach to development. I’m hopeful the pitching in the organization is on the right path with Brian Bannister now at the helm of their pitching development. We’ve seen the effect of the Bannister hire with the Major League staff, even though the White Sox are limited on MLB caliber players at this point. The blueprint has been set forth by Bannister, the Director of Pitching, to improve the staff immensely from the bottom to the top.
