Chase Burns & JR Ritchie

As I mentioned in last week’s EHI column, it’s been hard to get good in-person looks this season. I primarily work out of two parks, and I depend on those squads to have a few players I can always supplement coverage with on a given week. Chattanooga, Double-A Reds, has a couple prospects who fit into the supplemental category. I already covered one, Sal Stewart (3B, CIN), in a previous article. Rome, High-A Braves, has one solid prospect, who you’ll learn about later today, JR Ritchie (RHP, ATL). Every article needs a headliner, which has been a struggle to find this year. A few weeks ago, the Reds called up Chase Burns (RHP, CIN) from High-A. He's the headline for today’s article.
