The hardest evaluation is a catcher evaluation. If any of us are going to miss big on a prospect, it’s likely a catching prospect. So many factors and subtle nuances make up a good catching prospect. Obviously, for fantasy, managers want to know if a catcher stick behind the plate and if he will hit enough to be relevant in a particular format. This week, I want to try something a little different.
A few weeks ago, I spent a series, dodging raindrops, getting looks at switch-hitter Edgar Quero (C, LAA). During the 1st game of my look, I took detailed notes of what I was doing while covering Quero. I move a lot during a game.
