BATTERS: Early deep league targets, 2021

As we did with starting pitchers this week, let's help you target where to spend your speculative dollars on hitters if you play in a deep league.

Here are a bunch of bats in each league that could be worth pursuing if you play in a deep league.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Michael Brosseau (2B/3B/1B, TAM) hasn't delivered anything of value so far in 2021 (.157 BA, .527 OPS in 83 AB). Blame a 21% h% for part of it, a mark that is half of what he posted in 2020. His Statcast indicators also give hope that he can bounce back (89.5 mph exit velocity, 9.8% barrel rate).

Ji-Man Choi (1B, TAM) is another good power speculation after his recent activation. He has a history of double-digit walk rates and posted a 115+ xPX in four straight seasons prior to...
