Spring surge for Beltran ... Once again Carlos Beltrán (OF, STL) is filling up the stat sheet in the first few months of the season—and once again there will be questions about whether he can maintain the performance through the dog days of summer. Beltran's BA took a nosedive after July 1 in 2012 and speed and power output also tailed off.
