FACTS/FLUKES: Alvarez, Anderson, Canning, Gurriel, Means

He has already shown what he can do ... Yordan Alvarez (DH, HOU) lost most of 2020 to injuries to both knees that eventually led to surgery.  Fortunately, as noted in Matt Cederholm's recent Big Hurt column, recovery rates are very good for such a procedure.  It's worth reminding ourselves of his skill set with a look ahead to 2021.
