Power doesn’t reappear, but speed persists for Ellsbury…When Jacoby Ellsbury (OF, NYY) signed with the Yankees in the off-season, fanalytic bidders drooled. Visions of the lefty taking aim at the short right field porch in Yankee Stadium (+33% LH HR) had some pondering a return to his 2011 power numbers (32 HRs). Those owners are likely pretty disappointed in his 2014 performance.
