FACTS/FLUKES: Trumbo, Bauer, Souza, Manaea, Holt

Trumbo looks to keep mashing…In 2014, the Orioles signed Nelson Cruz (OF, SEA) to a bargain one-year deal late in the off-season; Cruz responded with an enormous season that contributed to the AL East crown. Fast-forward two years, and Mark Trumbo’s (OF, BAL) low-cost one-year deal results in similar results. Trumbo’s in the thick of the AL HR race, and he’s kept the Orioles on track in their pennant chase.
