Verlander flashes some warning signs … The Mets signed Justin Verlander (RHP, HOU) in December 2022 to a two-year, $86.7 million contract that includes an option for a third year at $35 million that Will Vest with 140 IP in 2024. He missed the first several weeks of the 2023 season with a low-grade teres major strain but has compiled a 3.15 ERA through 94 IP. Is there reason for concern?
