F/F SPOTLIGHT: Adam Eaton

Coming into 2016, one of the most commonly touted offensive "sleepers" in fantasy baseball was CHW OF Adam Eaton. Eaton was recommended far and wide because of his skills package, offering above-average production in the "speed" categories—Runs, SB and BA—while not being a dead weight in HR and RBI. In a $24 season in 2015, Eaton notched a .287 BA with a useful 18 SB and a very useful 98 runs scored, while chipping in on the power side with 14 HR and 56 RBI. Not a Rickey Henderson foundational guy, but a strong brick in the wall of many a fantasy contender.

But a careful look at Eaton reveals an offensive player whose upside might already have been reached, while injuries and aging present a downside that should not be...
