Some weeks there's wheat and others there's chaff. This is a bit of a chaffy week. There are a couple of new closers in the mix—Joe Smith (RHP, LAA) is a borderline BUY—as well as hitters who are worthy of attention if nothing else. Shop until you drop.

Shallow Leagues

With Daniel Nava (OF, BOS) headed to the minors, the path to regular playing time is wide open for Jackie Bradley (OF, BOS). He's off to a bad start so far, with a .206 BA in 63 AB, but there are some glimmers of hope. His 14% bb%, for starters, is a sign that he's seeing the ball...
