An injury to Tommy Hanson (RHP, ATL) has given Kris Medlen (RHP, ATL) an opportunity, and he's done everything he can to make the most of it, tossing four straight PQS-DOM starts since moving into the rotation. The results are first-rate: 1.03 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, 7.7 Dom, 5.5 Cmd, and a 54% GB. His season-long numbers are equally good, though his 3.39 xERA is quite a bit above his 2.03 ERA.
