It's hard to crack the Braves' starting rotation, and often hard to stay there. An injury to Tommy Hanson (RHP, ATL) has given Kris Medlen (RHP, ATL) an opportunity, and he's done everything he can to make the most of it, tossing four straight PQS-DOM starts since moving into the rotation. The results are first-rate: 1.03 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, 7.7 Dom, 5.5 Cmd, and a 54% GB. His season-long numbers are equally good, though his 3.39 xERA is quite a bit above his 2.03 ERA.
