ARSENAL REPORT: Subverting contracts and expectations

This week in the Arsenal Report we are looking at a pair of AL West lefties who have subverted expectations in 2022, one for the better and one for the worse. These two lefties demonstrate a lot of the fun and potential frustration of fantasy baseball, as the one who signed a 1-year, $4 million deal in the offseason is well outperforming the one who signed a massive 5-year deal in the offseason. These cases really demonstrate the error bars that are inherent in projecting player performance, which make both the real game and the fantasy game more interesting to play.
