BPV home/road, 2026

Let's continue our one-split-away theme by looking at the home/road splits of starting pitchers.

When deciding which SP to activate on a daily basis, a general rule is to target SP pitching at home, as home pitchers post much better stats and skills than their road counterparts. 

In particular, a pitcher's ERA, WHIP, and BPV all have been consistently better at home over the past decade:
