STARTERS: Early 2016 speculations

Our last SP Buyers Guide column of the regular season will take an early look at 2016 speculative targets that could provide nice value to you in 2016, especially if you play in a deep league.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Tyler Duffey (RHP, MIN) owns a marginal line of a 3.72 ERA and 1.45 WHIP over seven starts this season. That said, he has looked really interesting over three starts in September: 18 IP, 8.7 Dom, 3.1 Ctl, 56% GB%, 107 BPV. He also owns an 11% SwK% and 65% FpK% over his seven starts. In addition, he owns a unique reverse LH-RH split. He racks up strikeouts against lefties (11.1 Dom) but hasn't been able to do so against same-sided batters (6.3 Dom).
