STARTERS: Early sell high targets, 2022

Knowing when to sell high on low-skilled starting pitchers who are off to quick starts can help you avoid bad stats down the road. It can also help you maximize their trade value.

Here are six starting pitchers in each league with a sub-4.00 ERA that you should be selling.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Marco Gonzales (LHP, SEA) has posted a sub-4.00 ERA through late May. However, that mark has been a mirage. An 84% S% has drove it more than anything else. His skills have been terrible (32 BPV), and his 6.9% SwK% and 58% FpK% don't give them any growth potential. He's not someone you want on your active roster.
