STARTERS: One Split Away—BPV None On/Runners On

Let's continue our one-split-away series by looking at BPV posted by starting pitchers with the bases empty vs. runners on base.

It seems intuitive that a SP's skills would be better while pitching with the bases empty, since he can throw from a full windup and concentrate solely on the batter.

But some SP own incredibly extreme skill splits between these two situations, and others actually perform better when pitching from the stretch.
