STARTERS: Spring Cmd Leaders

Spring training stats and skills often are misleading, especially for starting pitchers.

For one, they come in small sample sizes, so we can't put a lot of stock into them.

And stats from Arizona camps are impacted by the climate. The air there is conducive to home runs, which can wreck havoc on a pitcher's ERA and WHIP.

That said, command ratio (Cmd, or K/BB) ratio can be a useful measure of spring training performance for young pitchers or those who may be on the verge of a breakout.

Here are the command ratio leaders among starting pitchers so far this spring:
