CHASING THE 2016 NFBC: Some last minute pre-draft thoughts

When I set the KDS (Kentucky Derby Style, pick-your preference draft position) for my GlennerationX/BaseballHQ NFBC Main Event entry, I ultimately decided to leave it 1-15.  I typically subscribe to the theory put forth by fellow writer Todd Zola that the value of draft picks in a vacuum diminish pick by pick. As the gap in values reduces as the draft moves along, the earlier draft slots always having more mathematical value than a later slot when all the values for all the picks are accounted for during the course of a draft.

Ugh.  When did fantasy baseball become advanced calculus?  Translation: Earlier draft slots carry more value, and it's substantial.

However, that's looking at the picks in a mathematical vacuum and at a draft in...

Almost!
