NEWS: The Red Sox acquired catchers Adley Rutschman and Jake Rogers from the Orioles for catcher Carlos Narváez and prospects RHP Anthony Eyanson, RHP Kyson Witherspoon and OF Enddy Azocar, along with a player to be named later.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Rutschman is currently on the injured list with a wrist injury but was reportedly on the cusp of a rehabilitation assignment before the trade. Once he is able to return, he should represent a significant offensive upgrade for Boston from Narváez and C Connor Wong, whose offensive output has been negligible, even as the Red Sox have reeled off win after win over the past month-plus. The switch-hitting Rutschman may see his power output get nicked in Fenway...
