Angels turn to youth movement in rotation

NEWS: Will summon rookie hurlers Samuel Aldegheri and Caden Dana to join their rotation this weekend.
IMPACT: Medium 
BHQ SPIN: The Angels will add two of their better pitching prospects to their big-league rotation, as Aldegheri will start on Friday night, and Dana on Sunday. Dana was the top prospect on our Organizational Report this past offseason, and has spent 2024 working in Double-A, where he has compiled a 2.52 ERA and a 9.8 k/9 over 23 starts. Aldegheri was a trade-deadline acquisition from the Phillies in the Carlos Estévez trade. (You can read more about Aldegheri in Daily Callups.) For now, we have allocated 5% PT% to each, and trimmed from José Soriano, Reid Detmers, and Griffin Canning...
