NEWS: Baltimore acquired RHP Zach Eflin from Tampa Bay in exchange for prospects Matthew Etzel, Jackson Baumeister, and Mac Horvath.

BHQ SPIN: The addition of Eflin gives a Baltimore team which has suffered several starting pitching injuries during the season some stability in the middle of its rotation. Following the demotion of Cade Povich before the All-Star Break and the demotion of Chayce McDermott after he made a spot start on Wednesday, Baltimore only had four starting pitchers on its active roster.
