NEWS: Two starting players left Wednesday's game with an injury: RHP Cristian Javier (right shoulder tightness) and OF Jake Meyers (lower back tightness).
IMPACT: High 
BHQ SPIN: Neither player has been placed on the IL yet, but the circumstances and nature of both injuries makes those stints a foregone conclusion. Javier exited with a trainer after one warmup pitch prior to the second inning, and this comes on the heels of Hunter Brown being shut down with a shoulder strain earlier in the week. Javier will certainly miss time, complicating the Astros rotation that starts a stretch of 13 straight games without an off day.
