ATL rotation takes another hit

NEWS: Lefty Joey Wentz has torn the ACL in his right knee and will miss the entire 2026 season.
IMPACT: Medium
BHQ SPIN: Wentz was in the mix for a spot in the Atlanta rotation prior to suffering the injury. His absence, and that of Spencer Schwellenbach and Hurston Waldrep, has prompted us to bump Bryce Elder’s playing time projection to 8.5%. Other candidates for the rotation include José Suarez and rookies Didier Fuentes and JR Ritchie. Lucas Giolito is still available, but at this writing, there’s been no indication that the Braves will turn into that direction.
